This zine is designed to ease tension by sharing simple and effective tips from certified professionals, family enthusiasts and parents and kids themselves. Our focus is on mindfulness, awareness, and community-building. Our promise is that parents will feel increased confidence and connectedness, and young people will feel validated, empowered and inspired in their lives. Finally, every reader will take away skills to communicate powerfully, and tackle the stressors in their lives, leaving with a sense of comfort and support that they are not alone. Mental health is not a dirty word!

Explore what whole health wellness means for you; transform your relationship to your health; and create new practices to keep you thriving. We will have questions prepared to provoke transformative thinking; will teach breathing exercises, body movement and acupressure points; and include healthy food samples and recipes to share. Whole Health Wellness, a team of 4 practitioners, is your partnership for a balanced life. Our mission is to empower you and your communities to discover new perspectives to your complete health and well-being.

Online classes will be held via Zoom and can be accessed through a laptop, desktop, tablet or smartphone. Your chosen device must be connected to the internet, and have speakers. A webcam is optional but recommended, and important if you’d like the instructor and the class to be able to see you and your work. Register now for “What’s Next…” a workshop for teens. This 5-week workshop is held every Wednesday from 4:30 to 6:30pm in the Charles Court Building at 312 W. State Street Kennett Square, PA.

Exciting times ahead for high school juniors and seniors and college students home for the summer making decisions about their futures! How the heck am I supposed to know what I want to do with the rest of my life? Feeling overwhelmed by the choices and decisions? Coming this summer -” What’s Next… ” a 5 week self assessment workshop designed to help you clarify all the possibilities!

The workshop is facilitated by Kim Engstrom, Counselor and Transitional Life Coach. Kim holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling, is Secondary and Higher Education Certified and has 20+ years of experience working with teens and young adults.

You will learn strategies to: manage stress , face your fears, uncover your true passion, and develop self-confidence.

Participants will receive 10 hours of guided career exploration, uncover their strengths and develop a career action plan. You’ll receive group support and individual attention through a structured career approach to career planning and decision-making.
