How do I find the time to relax and be mindful with a busy schedule?

The human brain is wired to have anywhere from 25,000 to 50,000 thoughts a day and 70% of them are believed to be negative and I'd venture to say more than half of our thoughts we aren't even aware of.  Add in busy schedule, planning, scheduling, cancellations, and remembering and no wonder we are always so exhausted.
I hear so many people say, I'm not very good at meditation or I don't have the time.  You don't have to be "good at" meditation and just five minutes a day can change your life. It's a practice and with practice comes results. You just need to do it. Meditation is the one thing I do no matter what every day.  Miss it and I feel the difference.
If you know how to breathe, you know how to be mindful. By taking a few minutes a day to shift the focus off a few hundred of those thoughts to focusing on your breathe, you reduce stress, increase happiness and acceptance, slow down aging and improve overall concentration and quality of life. The time you will get back in peace of mind will feel like a whole day openend in your schedule.  Now do you have time?

Namaste,
Kim
